1Who we are
Buuked is a booking platform that helps freelancers and small businesses create a booking page, showcase their services, and accept bookings online. The platform is operated from the United Kingdom and can be reached at hello@buuked.me.
Buuked is a trading name of RFK Professional Services Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 16869359). Registered office: 204 Winsford Avenue, Coventry, West Midlands, CV5 9NB. RFK Professional Services Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2What data we collect
When you create a Buuked account, we collect your name, email address, and the business information you add to your page (services, prices, descriptions, location, portfolio images).
When a customer books through your Buuked page, we collect their name, email address, the service they booked, and the date and time of the booking.
If a freelancer adds a client to Buuked by hand or imports their client list from another app, we store the details they give us, such as the client's name, phone number, email address and notes. Only that freelancer can see them. The freelancer decides what is kept and can change or delete it at any time. We don't use these details for our own marketing, and clients only receive emails from Buuked about bookings they make.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
We also collect basic usage data such as page views, where visitors and bookings came from (for example Instagram or Google), and which services receive the most interest, which we use to provide the analytics feature on Pro plans.
3Why we collect it
We use your data to provide the Buuked service: creating your booking page, processing bookings, sending confirmation emails to you and your customers, and showing you analytics about your page. We also use your email to communicate with you about your account, service updates, and (with your consent) product news.
4How we store and protect it
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database hosting) and Cloudinary (image hosting). Our platform is hosted on Vercel. Email notifications are sent through Resend. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell or rent your personal data.
5Third-party services
Buuked uses the following third-party services that may process your data as part of delivering the service:
Stripe for payment processing. Supabase for data storage. Cloudinary for image hosting. Vercel for platform hosting. Resend for transactional emails. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising, only if you say yes to cookies (see Cookies below). Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data protection practices.
6Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@buuked.me and we will respond within 30 days.
7Cookies
Buuked uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. These are always on because the site needs them to work.
With your permission, we also use the Meta Pixel on Buuked's own pages (our home page, free tools, blog and sign-up pages). It tells Meta when someone visits these pages, uses a free tool or signs up, so we can see which of our ads work and show Buuked ads on Instagram and Facebook to people who have visited. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, under its own privacy policy. We never use it on freelancers' booking pages, in your dashboard or when a client books.
We ask before switching it on. If you say no, nothing is sent to Meta. You can change your mind at any time: change your cookie choice.
Separately, when someone uses a free tool we count the download and the ad link they came from (for example "instagram"). This count does not include your name, email or any other personal details.
8Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, financial records for tax purposes).
9Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
